FASCAR THUNDER CUP SERIES 2006
|
In 2006 I ran a 19 race preview of what ended up being the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series. There was 8 Drivers that raced in this preview and we ran the Chase to the Thunder Cup with 4 Drivers.
At this time Austin Ebach was 4 years old and I told him if he won the Chase that I would get a Trophy made up for him. Austin did win the preview championship and that is where the Trophy idea came from.

FASCAR THUNDER CUP SERIES 2007
|
In 2007 the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series officially made it's debut on Sunday, Feb 18th 2007 with 27 Drivers at the Daytona Int'l Speedway.
Michael Williams Sr. made FASCAR Thunder Cup Series history that day winning becoming the 1st Driver to win a race in the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series.
At Season End
Randy Dorris wins the 1st FASCAR Thunder Cup Series Championship by 23 points over Wendal Ebach and 27 points ahead of Robert Batz. We saw 28 drivers that raced and 18 different winners.

FASCAR THUNDER CUP SERIES 2008
|
In 2008 the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series officially kicked off it's 2nd Season on Sunday, Feb 17th 2008 with 42 Drivers at the Daytona Int'l Speedway.
The 2008 FASCAR Thunder Cup Series Season brought us a few changes and they where the 1st FASCAR Shootout race which was won by Philip Hamm. Then after the Chase to the Thunder Cup drivers where set the drivers from 11th to 20th made it into the 1st Ever Chase to the Dash Championship.
At Season End
Jason Pruett wins the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series 2008 Championship by 9 points over Ken Wolfe. This was the closest championsip ever in the series history.

The 2009 FASCAR Thunder Cup Series Season brought us a few changes and they where the 1st FASCAR All-Star race which was won by Lori Fjeldahl. The Top 12 Drivers will made the Chase to the Thunder Cup. The Chase to the Dash Championship was set from 13th to 35th

Ken Wolfe wins the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series 2009 Championship by 86 points over Jay Smogolski. We saw 46 drivers that raced and 26 different winners
