In the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series, Richard Staley becomes the 1st Person this season to visit Victory Lane 3 times and Points Leader Philip Hamm finished the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 in the 28th Spot.
Richard Staley scores 917 points and comes home with his 3rd win here in the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series holding off Mark Erickson Jr with 898 points. This marked Richard's 3rd Top 5 and 7th Top 10 of the 2008 Season. With this win Richard jumped up 5 spots in the FTCS Standings and finds himself in the Top 10 in the 8th. Congratulations on your win Richard Staley. Mark Erickson Jr. with 898 points comes home with 2nd Place. This was Mark's best career finish here in the FTCS. This was Mark's 3rd Top 5 & 6th Top 10 of the 2008 Season. Danean Hamm with 857 points comes home with 3rd Place. This was a nice finish for Danean which fell out of the Top 10 last week and now finds herself back in the Top 10 at 10th. Louie Gallardo with 843 points comes home with 4th Place. After last week's win & finding himself back in the Top 10, this was a nice finish for Louie to stay in the Top 10. This was Louie's 5th Top 5 & 8th Top 10 of the 2008 Season. Jason Pruett with 833 points comes home with 5th Place. Jason was looking for a good finish after losing his #1 ranking in the FTCS Standings last week and that is what Jason did and took back his #1 Ranking in the FTCS Standings. Alltime High Scores & 2008 High Scores With Richard Staley's 917 Points that is 5th in the Alltime High Scores & 4th in the 2008 High Scores. With Mark Erickson Jr's 898 Points that is 8th in the Alltime High Scores & 6th in the 2008 High Scores. High Scores FTCS Standings: June 30, 2008: In the FASCAR Thunder Cup Series Standings, after falling to 3rd last week and was 38 points behide Philip Hamm, Jason Pruett finds himself back in the #1 spot for the 4th time this season and is 23 points ahead of Paul Ouderkirk. Paul Ouderkirk stays in 2nd, Philip Hamm moves down 2 spot into 3rd, Randy Dorris moves up 1 spot into 4th and rounding out the Top 5 and dropping 1 spot is Kevin Vincavage. FTCS Standings Richard Staley & Danean Hamm moved into the Top 10 this Week. Jay Smogolski & Karen Smith moved out of the Top 10 this Week. Biggest Gain This Week: +6 Danean Hamm Biggest Drop This Week: -11 Karen Smith
