Going to the Lowe's Motor Speedway
May 21, 2008: As we move forward to the Coca-Cola 600 at the Lowe's Motor Speedway who has the momentum going into this race. Coming off his 1st Win, his 4th Top 5 & his 5th Top 10 of the 2008 Season, Paul Ouderkirk needs to feel that he has the momentum going into the Coca-Cola 600. Also Paul Ouderkirk, took over the #1 Spot in the Rookie Standings.
Did you Know?
That if the Chase to the Thunder Cup 2008 started this week-end, Paul Ouderkirk would start the Chase #1 over Defending FTCS Champion Randy Dorris. Both, Paul & Randy are the only Players in the Top 10 right now that have a win but, Paul would win the Tiebreaker because of his 4 Top 5's over Randy's 2 Top 5's.
Players to watch for this Weekend:
Wendal Ebach won the Coca-Cola 600 last spring and finished 3rd at the Bank of America 500 in the fall race at the Lowe's Motor Speedway. Wendal's first career win came on his Birthday last year so, just maybe he can pick up himself and early Birthday gift this year. Wendal is still searching for the right set up to get his 4th Career win.
Mitch Zukowski finished this race last spring 3rd. Mitch Zukowski has been struggling in the last 2 races and finds himself outside of the Top 10 in the 17th spot. Mitch's best finish in the last two races is 37th. Mitch sure would like to get a strong finish and get himself back into the Top 10 this week-end at the Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Steve Willard is coming off his 1st Top 5 of the season and after missing the Dan Lowry 400, Steve Willard needed to find the right setup to get a good finish at the Dodge Challenger 500 and Steve found the right setup at that race finishing 2nd. Steve would like to get himself back into the Top 20.
