This is Bruce Stevens 1st career win and 1st win of the 08 season. Congrats Bruce Stevens. Bruce Stevens scored 816 pts and held of 3 Rookie Players to win the Daytona 500. Coming in 2nd was Rookie Player Shawn Shevshenko with 809 Pts, 3rd was Rookie Player Louie Gallardo with 804 Pts and coming in 4th was Rookie Player Paul Ouderkirk with 779 Pts. Great Showing by the Rookies at the Daytona 500. Rounding out the top 5 was Wendal Ebach with 774 Pts which was Wendal's best finish ever at the Daytona Int'l Speedway. Last year's winner of the Daytona 500 Michael Williams Sr. finshed the race in 17th and last year's FTCS Champion Randy Dorris finished the race in the 34th spot. Not the way Randy Dorris wanted to start his 2nd Championship run. But, it's a long season and as we all know anything can happen.
